Whilst busily trying to organise where I was going to go and what I was going to do, I realised that I wasn't just letting go and letting be. So I stopped trying to shape my destiny and see what would happen. A pathway leading to "Yichang China" illuminated. This is somewhere that I hadn't heard of and because I had been looking in different directions, I didn't at first take much notice of the offer to look at this job. With some gentle persuasion I loosened my grasp and glanced at this opportunity. What has opened up before me is an offer to teach in a school that seems very suited to someone such as myself. The job itself starts later this year giving me plenty of time to get organised. The more I read about Yichang the more it appeals. It is firstly famous for "The Three Gorges" and it's beautiful scenery, second is the somewhat massive Dam that was built there and thirdly seems to be that it has a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
Now one thing I have learnt of late is that nothing is for certain, but many things seem to be leading me this way. I will keep you posted!

Sue,
Glad to see everything goes well with you. I am sure of you are getting increasingly excited as the day to set off for your desired destination is coming.
In Chinese, "宜昌" means YiChang. You can try use it to google some more information about the city, which will be in Chinese language, and the google translator could help you obtain a bit more first hand information.
Yes Katat, It's very exciting!
Thanks for the hints with the translator and I hadn't tried to google 宜昌 either. It's very interesting.
